It's a sad reflection of how hard and desperate the times have become. (And yeah, it's Senator Jaworski who did the commentary on CNN's video for this article.)
I felt really bad when I read the news today. The dying moments of some of yesterday's casualties were spent pleading their loved ones to never let go. And that's what one man just did - helpless amidst the crushing crowd, he just held on to his mom even as they were both being trampled upon. He survived, but his mother did not. Sh!t.
All they wanted was a shot at a better life. And they paid for it with their life.
