Wolfgang's Hit and Run: The awesome night that was

3 A's to describe last night: Anlupit. Ambangis. Ang AWESOME.

Front acts were great: Playphonics, Salamin, Loquy. Got to appreciate Playphonics and Salamin this second time I got to see them, while it was my first Loquy gig. As usual, Kevin Roy had the best in-between-song hirits, hehe. Sancho is a guitar genius!

In terms of setlist, this was probably the best gig since they kinda-broke-up-and-got-back-together. Check it out (thanks to Benj for posting the setlist):

1. The Beast
2. What Grows In Your Garden Now
3. As Oceans
4. Very Free
5. A Revolution Now
6. Man 98
7. Bassarab's Walk
8. Mata Ng Diyos
9. NO FALTER!
10. Halik Ni Hudas
11. Trenta
12. Arise
13. Left Alone
14. Atomica
15. Love And Despair
16. Molds
17. Aching Tree
18. Darkness Fell
19. Shoulders Of Cain
20. Weightless
21. Diaspora
22. Ilang Alon Ang Dala
23. Natutulog Kong Mundo
*Manuel's guitar string breaks*

24. Roadworthy Man
25. Tulisan

Encore:
Sanctified

I was totally psyched when they played Very Free, Sanctified, Roadworthy Man, Weightless, and MAN98!

Maybe the only other post-hiatus gig that tops this one was Alive 2007 - that one had it over Hit and Run in terms of crowd response, the excitement of anticipation (this gig sorta ended their hiatus), and the fact that Razorback shared the stage with them.

Nobody - NOBODY - comes close to Wolfgang when it comes to rocking out. (Razorback doesn't count - it's just wrong to compare those two bands, it's like pitting twin brothers against each other, hehe.)

I usually thrive on taking gig pics, but for Hit and Run, it was an exercise in futility from where we stood - at the bar, corner of the room, far far away from the stage. But I didn't fret about that at all - to experience Wolfgang with your own two eyes and not through the camera lens was waaay better.

It was a pretty physical gig for me. Since we were far and everybody else stood in front of us, I had to stand on the footrest at the bar to see the band. Doing that required me to keep my balance on the aircon beside me and the bar behind me, thus limiting my fist-pumping and foot-stomping, though I could still headbang. 19East is still a small venue, though, so "far from the band" isn't really THAT far. I so love small, intimate bar gigs.

Speaking of physical, my ordeal was nothing compared to what the guys had to endure - especially Francis Aquino. With his arms flying across the drumkit for 25+1 songs, I totally marvelled at his stamina the whole night. Manuel's guitar licks were a treat to watch (as long as I could see them above all the heads in the crowd, hehe). Mon was farther form me than any other band member, so I was simply contented to hear his basslines and see him smile once in a while. And, of course, I will forever love Sebastian Artadi - Pinoy rock god in his own right.

Wolfgang is one of the primary reasons I am very thankful for being a kid of the 90s (guess what other band would be another reason). I was in first year high school when I first heard their music. Got to love them more in college because my guy Andrew is a big fan. And now, I am old enough - curfew free and salaried - to watch their breathtaking, heartstopping live performances :)

Lemme take this opportunity to thank my fiance, Andrew, for wanting to watch this gig. I initially decided to let it pass because of financial and schedule constraints, but Andrew's answer to my question, "Manonood ba tayo?" - "Oo, Wolfgang yan eh!" - sealed the deal :P And, of course, he's my perpetual gigging partner and driver (hehe), so without him, I wouldn't have witnessed the gig in its entirety.

Finally, let me thank WOLFGANG for filling our lives with awesome Pinoy rock. Thank you for coming back to us when we thought we had lost you. Thank you for putting up such a spectacular show last night. Though the chances to see you are few and far between, gigs like Hit and Run are enough to fill my cup :)

Ok, tama na, super haba na nito, emo pa sa dulo :D

P.S. Lines of the night by Basti:
"T******* Twilight yan, I just don't get it." (as a segue to Bassarab's Walk)
"I feel whiter and gay each day." (referring to the Glutamax ad - SLEX people, you know what I'm talking about)

Wolfgang VI...coming soon?! - VILLAINS 2008

(Basti himself posted this on his MySpace!)

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

Must...learn...to...breath...

This could potentially make me go crazier than that darned Eheads reunion...

08/07/08 UPDATE!!!

This just in from Mr. Artadi:

Monday, July 21, 2008

Right now, it's Wolfgang all over Eheads

I'm deathly busy, but this is very very important to me, thus the need to blog about it. Hehehe.

- - - - -

A lot of my high school friends would be surprised if they heard me say this now.

I was so much more an Eheads fan back then than a Wolfgang fan. Right now, maybe it's a tie in terms of the music. But if we're talking about reunions, I'd pick the Wolfgang gig over the Eheads thing in a jiffy.

Firstly, a Wolfgang reunion gig would feature new songs, whereas I doubt the reunited Heads could spend enough time together to come up with new material.

Secondly, a Wolfgang reunion gig would most probably have a more peaceful atmosphere (even though it does belong to the harder, supposedly more violent subgenre of rock) than an Eheads reunion gig. And I'm not only talking about the band members here. There are speculations left and right that the four Wolven Ones aren't really all in good terms, just as the local Fab Four are; but I believe the tension is far greater amidst the Heads. What's more, the way the Eheads rift has split apart their fans is miles away from how any Wolfgang issue may have polarized the fanbase (if there really is an issue to speak of in the first place).

In other words, an Eheads reunion gig is a riot waiting to happen (sorry to the uber excited fans, but this thought has truly bothered me from the start).

Since the Eheads gig is so HIGHLY ANTICIPATED (understatement of the year, I'd say), emotions will be running high on the day itself, including anxiety and restlessness.

Think of it - a mere 45 minute set for what you've waited for 10 years?! BITIN! Everyone waiting for a kiss-and-make-up jam? People still believing and rooting for one side over the other? Free admission with hecklers all around? I dunno man...sounds frightful to me.

Maybe it's just my coping mechanism, but I find it hard to be genuinely excited over this Eheads reunion gig. Maybe at the back of my mind I'm afraid I won't get tickets, so at least if I'm not too excited, I won't be that heartbroken. Hehehe.

Anways, as I said, I've been too busy to even go online (15 pages of "Recent Updates" and I haven't even seen the last of em!), so I haven't really kept track the Eheads thing, like where to get tickets or other whatnot.

Don't get me wrong - I'd do ANYTHING to watch the Eheads play together again. But if it means risking life and limb on my part, or maybe seeing in the flesh that the friendship truly is irreparable...I think I'll just go catch the DVD release (dapat naman meron no!)

But if we're talking Wolfgang here...front row tickets and backstage passes please! ;)

Aliiive!!!

Man, there's sooo much to say about that friggin' reunion gig last Friday.

Hope you don't mind the longish post.

- - - - -

Got to Greenhills at around 4pm to pick up our reserved tickets. On my way up to Music Museum, saw Louie Talan settle down on the steps to have a smoke. Sabi ko sa sarili ko magpapapic nalang ako w/ him after I claim the tix. Timang kasi on my way back down nakasalubong ko siya on his way back up.

But then, a few minutes later as I was calling Drew at the foot of the stairs to tell him I got the tix already, down comes Basti Artadi, and suddenly the world is a better place to live in(hehehe). Grabe, tumatawid lang ng daan si Basti pero he had his mean rocker face on - I swear, those eyes, that face, that scowl is to die for. As Basti makes his way to the parking lot, I resolve NOT to let this opportunity pass - aabangan ko pagbalik niya para magpapic! :D So yeah, nevermind people around us were prolly thinking what a loser/stalker/fangirl I was, I went ahead and asked for a pic w/ Basti pagkabalik niya from the parking lot. He kindly obliged, and even commented na "hi-tech" daw camera ko ('cause of the swivel LCD I guess hehe). Then I asked him when he was going back to the States and found out na kinabukasan na pala flight niya.

So there, hours before the gig, I've already stalked one wolven one. Two to go.

Hours later, Drew and I were already inside the Music Museum (gates opened at 6:30 pm), hardly believing that this gig was actually gonna take place. You see, Drew and I are really big Wolfgang fans, and the news of the sudden breakup last 2002 really shattered our hearts.

At around 9pm, a slideshow of Razorback and Wolfgang pics from the 90s (heehee) were shown, then the lights went out and Metallica's "Wherever I May Roam" started playing . Dun pa lang, sinimulan ko na ang sing-along, hehehe. Finally, the guys of Wolfgang and Razorback started the show (hala, I forgot na what the song was hehehe).

Here are some of my fave shots. I like most of my pics, though they're quite blurry kasi di ako gumamit ng flash, tas di naman ako marunong magset ng tamang aperture and shutter speed para sharp yung pics, hehehe.

Showing off the supposedly sold-out tix. Balita ko may mga di na-claim na reserved tix eh. Sayang naman, dami-dami kayang gusto sana manood. Tsss.

Beautiful lighting onstage. Took these shots while waiting for the gig to start.

Ampayat na ni Mon Legaspi! And grabe, I really really really missed seeing Basti perform. When those eyes flare up and those eyebrows arch - sends shivers down my spine.

Kumikinang ang mga polo nina Papa Louie at Papa Manuel Legarda. Rock n roll never looked this good!

Basti and Kevin Roy: When you've got these two guys onstage, you know it's gonna be an awesome awesome gig.

Tirso Ripoll's talkbox rules!!!

Manuel

Mon

The Basti Pose

While watching these rock gods onstage, I couldn't help but notice the enthusiasm flowing from one band member to another. Mon kept hopping around. Manuel was smiling a lot. Basti and Kevin were all fired up. Tirso was definitely enjoying his talkbox (really cool gadget, astig!). Brian Velasco and Francis Aquino were hot on the drums (Twas my first time to watch Francis - he's one mean fckn drummer!!! Sayang though nag-States na rin siya.) Naaliw talaga ako sa kanila, they were truly enjoying playing together again. Let's just all hope that that gig convinced them all to really get back together and churn out more rockin' albums!

After the gig, Drew and I hung out for a while at the lobby w/ some Wolfmusic gals. Later on, Basti came out and Drew asked to have a pic w/ him.

Much later, Manuel also came out and I had him sign my Acoustica inlay and also had a pic taken w/ him.

Last to come out was Mon, and as we were posing for the cam, he suddenly ducked so I made weird face (parang, "ngi, ba't ka nag-duck") at him before realizing that the camera hadn't flashed yet so tingin ako ulit sa cam tas siya naman tumayo ng tuwid...thus our kooky faces in that pic. Hehehe. Kulit ni Mon.

Quotable quotes:

After having a pic w/ Basti, I called up a friend who was very much used to my fangrrrly moments. Our conversation went something like this:
Dacs: Duuude, nagpapic ako w/ Basti!
Sam: Did you ask for his autograph?
Dacs: (pauses to think) Ay syet, no.
Sam: Dacs, ano ka ba? (and proceeds to scold me for forgetting something like that)
Dacs: Eh ganun eh, kabado.
Sam: So, what does he smell like?
Dacs: (pauses again to think) Dude, I didn't smell him.

- - - - -

"That wasn't the fckn song, was it?"
- Kevin Roy, after singing Giyang lyrics when the solos were done, when in fact Razorback was playing Tabi ng Bulkan. Di ko nga napansin na mali siya eh. Though Drew saw Louie na umiiling when Kevin started singing the wrong lyrics :P

Wulbsgangs!!!

I've been waiting for this for four years...tonight is THE NIGHT!

Been listening to almost nothing but Wolfgang this week (napakinig din ako ng Eraserheads and Pupil after I got word of Ely's heart attack - he's okay now, thank God!). Para akong estudyanteng naghahanda para sa exam, kailangan ireview, isaulo, isapuso ang material :P

Tonight, I will see Basti, Manuel, and Mon together onstage again (Wolf will be missed!), together with the equally awesome Razorback, flooring all their loyal fans with their killer riffs and of course Basti's unearthly growls (I swear, NO ONE can ever top the rock god Basti!)

For four years, the howl of the wolf was heard no more, but tonight, it will rock the walls of the Music Museum, and the resounding roar will echo for God knows how long in the hearts and minds of the lucky fans who will get to witness this much-anticipated (and overwhelmingly sold-out) reunion gig. (We will get our revenge on those who were able to buy tickets to the first reunion gig last week - mas maganda 'to kasi last na 'to! Bwahahaha!)

I've been waiting for this for four years. But first, I must go to school. Hehehe. Nothing like work to keep my mind in limbo. Buti nalang reporting yung mga estudyante ko, so my head isn't cluttered up with lesson plans, and all my energy is focused on THE SHOW of the year.

The gods of rock will finally awaken tonight and gratify our ravenous souls.

I've been waiting for this for four years...tonight is THE NIGHT!

I...will be...sanctified

Some awesome feedback from the Wolfgang mailing list about Alive 2007: The Wolfgang-Razorback reunion gig last night (Jan 6). Grabe, sobrang hindi ko na talaga mahintay ang Jan12!!!

- - - - -

From "Aleck Pulido":

Hi!!!!

I just came back from Alive 2007 (1:30 am, Jan. 7)...

Grabe.... I am so glad to have a chance to finally see the guys play live (as I was not permitted so when I was still studying)! Dream come true, man!

And also, I really dig my fellow fans! They, I mean, we are the best rockin' audience in this archipelago, believe me! Along with the 2 great bands, the enthusiasm of the standing room only rock fans made Alive 2007 the most "astig" gig in my books so far!

I know many will share their vids and pics here and at Youtube as my vids and pics are not that good. But we'll see if I can make it somehow good for fan consumption.

Where do I begin?

I finally met allan & wife, grms and joanne... hi! I'm sorry if I didn't formally introduce myself to many of 'ya, shy talaga ako. Try ko makilala kayong lahat next time :)Pls. correct me if I muddled some facts...thanks!

As early as 5:00 PM, there were many of us outside the Music Museum. Kaya, we were permitted to come in the early as early as 6 PM instead of 7 PM.

The gig started at about 8:30 PM... there were old pics of the 2 bands in a slide show as an introduction. Nakakatuwa :)

The order of songs/ songs played is jumbled inside my brain right now... I hope, my friends here will supply us with the song titles as they were fortunate to get a copy of the "program" (pls, pls, thanks!)

The rock icons who were part of the gig:

for wolfgang: Basti, Mon, Manuel (also for razorback), Brian (also for razorback), Francis (drummer in some parts)

for razorback: Kevin, Tirso, Louie, Manuel (also for wolfgang), Brian (also for Wolfgang), and Miguel (in some parts)

there also another guitarist in the ending salvo, Highway to Hell, but I couldn't remember his name (pls help me out guys)

non-razorback and wolfgang rockin' songs played: Come Together (Beatles), Whole Lotta Love (Led Zep), Nadapa sa Arina (Juan dela Cruz Band), Highway to Hell (AC/DC), I Never Cry (Alice Cooper, as sang by Kevin and Tirso, accompanied by Louie and Manuel)

wolfgang: mata ng diyos, center of the sun, as oceans, what grows in your garden, natutulog kong mundo, halik ni hudas, tulisan, weightless, sanctified, judas noose, a new song (can't remember the title)

razorback: payaso, giyang, voodoo who do, munting paraiso.... aaah!!! (memory lapses huhuhu, pls. help me out! thanks!)

After the show, we waited a bit, then sneaked backstage to have photo-ops, talk and have autographed signed with the guys. I also witnessed the MYX interview (just a bit before it ended... watch it this coming week at MYX News!!!) Ang babait nila, super!

If you have other tidbits I missed (alam ko marami... it was like a dream kanina, hanggang ngayon parang ayoko pang magising)... pls. place this in this thread.

Thanks! You guys rock!!! Hope I could attend a gig with you attendance again! Astig!

Aleck

Dacs says:
Woohoo! They did Come Together! Wolfgang's version of that is like one of my most favorite covers ever! And Highway to Hell...shit panalo 'to!!!

- - - - -

From "a_hinayo":

Whoa!!! T'was one of the best shows i've watched in my lifetime (considering that I grew up watching Wolfgang and Razorback live in the 90's and early 2000's) \m/. Such a great great reunion gig!!! I've said it before, and i'll say it again, i didn't missed half of my life!!!

Shook hands with and got my Razorback CDs signed by Tirso, Brian, Mig Ortigas & Kevin; and my DRT CD signed by Brian & Mig Ortigas. Thanks guys!

AMEN to everything you said ALECK. Thanks!

Nice meeting you gals from LOKO FORUM :)

Yup, they are recording it and WE are part of the live gig. ASTIG!!!
We can expect for a VCD or a DVD similar to SOUNDCHECK and ACOUSTICA!

Dacs says:
Oh wooow, the gig was recorded! I am so buying that the second it hits the record stores!

It's Friday, I'm in love

Just finished watching Wolfgang's Halo-Halo episode on MYX, from 2001. Five years ago.

During the interview portion, host Lourd de Veyra asked the band how they see themselves 5 years from now or something like that. I think Basti answered something like still making music something something something (as you can see, I was very attentive).

Gusto ko murahin yung TV. Then: 2001. Now: 2006. 5 years from then. At nasaan na ang Wolfgang? Ayun, kaka-reunion gig lang kanina sa Music Museum. Na hindi ko napuntahan kasi naubos sa iilang araw lang yung tickets.

Reunion gig? Yup. Not even 5 years from that Halo-Halo gig, Wolfgang disbanded, breaking a lot of people's hearts (not just the ladies', mind you) in the process. Siyempre, mine included. And Andrew's, too.

Then in October 2006, I got word from the Wolfgang mailing list that there'll be a reunion gig this January. I've been uber excited since then, only to have my heart broken again because tickets got sold out even before I had the chance to buy.

Buti nalang nagset ng repeat date. Jan12, Music Museum pa rin, P350 pa rin.

So, do I have tickets? Drew and I have reserved. And I hope to God it's a true blue reservation at hindi scam kundi magpapakamatay na ko pag hindi ko talaga napanood ang Wolfgang. Like I said couple of months back, wala nang sense ang buhay pag hindi ko napanood itong reunion gig na 'to.

NOTE: As of Jan 5 (I think), sold out na rin kaagad yung tix for Jan 12. Lupit.

- - - - -

Hahaha, masyado bang ma-angst? Well, ganyan ako magmahal. Matindi masaktan kapag nilisan ng minamahal, kaya maraming galit na kailangang ilabas.

So yeah, obviously, I'm still not over Wolfgang breaking up.

- - - - -

In the 24+ hours of uncertainty on whether or not there'll be a repeat reunion gig, my mind raced through my options.

Option 1: Drew and I would take our chances that scalpers would be at the gig. Pinag-usapan pa namin how much we were willing to pay for tix. P1000? Ok na yun.

Option 2: Don't I know anyone who could get me tix? Pakapalan nalang ng mukha, I NEED those tickets!!!

Option 3: Must keep my eyes open when in ATC or Festival Mall. If I run into Basti there, I'd go up to him and BEG him to have a repeat reunion gig. As in iiyakan ko siya.

Thank God a repeat performance was eventually scheduled, kundi napahiya ko na sarili ko sa kung sino-sino, hahaha :P

- - - - -

P.S. Hehe, in truth, I do understand why bands don't always stay together. But I just can't help feeling resentful that it has to be that way.

Friday is sooo far awaaay...

Vid-yo

YouTube-d tonight. One vid led to the other. Here we go.

Cambio - Patlang
Hehe, si Jim Paredes pala yung manong na pumasok sa room habang tumutugtog sila. I love this song to pieces.

Eraserheads - Trip to Jerusalem
Katuwa yung lakwatserong upuan. Sino nga ba director ng vid na 'to? Ang cool kasi nung cinematography (I hope I used that term correctly) - the silhouette shots, the chair shots, etc.

Eraserheads - Tama Ka (Tribute Vid)
Fan tribute video for Buddy Zabala. Buddy is my most favorite Eraserhead, and this is prolly my most favorite Buddy song.

Cambio - DV (Live at Intramuros, 2004)
Fun song, cool Buddy bassline, rocking crowd, shirtless Ebe. What more can you ask for? Heehee :P

Teeth - Shooting Star (Live at the NU Rock Awards 2000)
My 2nd favorite Teeth song. This performance features Marc Abaya on guitars (if I'm not mistaken...siya nga ba yun?)

Eraserheads - Combo on the Run (Live at Ateneo, 1993!)
Grabe, classic Eheads! 1993 - gradeschool pa ako nito! This is the song that bears the lyrics "Ultraelectromagneticpop!" and "Baby, you can bet your pwet, I'll do it again some time for the money"

Moonpools & Caterpillars - Interview at 5&Up (1996)
One of my most favorite Fil-Am bands ever. Nakaka-miss na sila! A CD copy of Lucky Dumpling will be a jewel in my CD collection...Hmmm, the 5&Up host looks like Maxine Magalona...5&Up kid ba siya?

Moonpools & Caterpillars - Live Performance on ASAP (1996)
Grabe, tumayo balahibo ko to hear those songs again. Haha, Dayanara Torres was part of the ASAP hosts; she's so pretty. Kainis, ang kulit ni Martin Nievera. Dayanara, Martin & Pops (kasal pa sila nun hehe), Ariel - I miss the '90s! Woohoo!

Lokomotiv - Five Alive
The official music video, with Basti Artadi still on vocals. Tagal na pala nito; short-hair pa si David Aguirre.

Wolfgang - Center of the Sun (Acoustic at the Music Museum, 2000)
One of the BEST (if not THE BEST) gigs I have EVER attended. Uy, may Pisay dun sa UP Singing Ambassadors na kasama nila, hehehe. Aaah I miss Wolfgang so badly :( Contemplating popping in the Acoustica VCD and reliving the whole thing all over again...

Lokomotiv - Warpigs (by Black Sabbath) (Universal Bar & Grill, 2006)
Prolly one of the last gigs of Basti with Loko. The first time I heard this Black Sabbath song, si Basti kaagad ang naisip ko sa vocals ni Ozzy (I haven't heard Black Sabbath prior to listening to Warpigs, maybe in 2002, hehe). No one - NO ONE - can growl like Basti Artadi. So even if I do like Ryan as Lokomotiv's new vocalist, wala pa ring papalit sa puso ko kay Basti Artadi.

These have got to be my best vid finds for tonight:

To the kids of today who know Jason Newstead mostly because of the show Rockstar:Supernova, let me just tell you that that guy was here in our shores 10 years ago and he played with the greatest hard rock bands of that time - Wolfgang, Skychurch, Datu's Tribe, etc - at that rockin' place called Club Dredd.

Let me digress for a bit: I think I was born a couple of years too late. In 1996, I was a sophomore in Pisay and too young to gig. When I finally graduated in 1998 at medyo pinapayagan na akong mag-gig...biglang nagsara ang Club Dredd. Phooey. Bad trip. Hindi man lang niya ako hinintay.

So yeah, back to Jason Newstead. I don't care if some people think he's a washed-up has-been. I've got respect for this ex-bassist of Metallica, na isa lang naman sa pinaka-astig na banda sa buong mundo EVER.

These are videos of Jason's visit here in '96, c/o schizo102 (check out his other precious vids - quite an awesome collection he's got, and I'm betting that's not even the half of it).

Part 1 - Interview by the Villegas twins (of Rizal Underground)
Part 2 - Jason jams with Wolfgang, Skychurch, Datu's Tribe

EDIT: Si Cabring lang pala yung Datu's Tribe sa vid. Kwento niya sa 'kin sa text kanina: Datu's didn't jam with him. Ako lang. Everyone else was in Los Banos and biglaan yung jam. Jason nag-bass, drummer and gitarista from Skychurch, ako boses. He didn't really want to jam Metallica songs so we just jammed. They improvised, and I used Datu's lyrics, hahaha :) Jason muntik pa makuryente sa Dredd. Pangalawang bahista na sana siya ng Metallica namatay sa aksidente hahaha :)

Old news, new news, any news?

Old news:
(Something I just recently - hehehe - picked up from the Wolfgang mailing list)

NEWS RELEASE 06/26/2006
BASTI ARTADI PARTS WAYS WITH LOKOMOTIV

Orange County, CA-- After a year and a half as vocalist of rising hard rock band LOKOMOTIV, Basti Artadi has parted ways with the band and is retiring from the music industry.

LOKOMOTIV released this announcement today: "We know this might come as shocking news but it was an amicable and inevitible farewell", says manager Ron Davis.

LOKOMOTIV reassures their fans that they and their management team are not breaking up. Exciting things are brewing behind the scenes and Lokoheads can look forward to great things to come. Meanwhile, guitarist David Aguirre, bassist Danny Gonzalez and drummer Wolf Gemora are concentrating on writing new material and are focused on keeping the momentum going.

"We want to assure YOU, our fans and friends that we will continue to be LOKOMOTIV and will move on with a strong frontman when the band is good and ready. We humbly ask for your continued support for our music and our cause.", says Wolf.

Check out the LOKOMOTIV website periodically for news and updates.

Any news:

...on the availability of the album?

I've searched the record stores for this album the whole weekend and today (Monday), but I've yet to see this much awaited release from Lokomotiv (the only album they'll have with Basti on vocals). I've checked Tower ATC and Makati, and both Odysseys in ATC but they still don't have this in stock.

Someone from Wolfmusic was able to buy a copy today (Monday) at Odyssey XL in SM North; there were still about 7 copies left on the rack. Swell. My work is 5 minutes away from SM North, but mall hours = work hours, and when I do get off, SM North is out of my way home. Makati lang talaga madadaanan ko. Sana meron na bukas!!! Grrr...

I miss...

...Wolfgang.

My heart skipped a beat when Lokomotiv's "Five Alive" vid was shown on MYX a while ago. Does that mean their album will finally be reaching Philippine soil?
