Robert Downey Jr. in Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People

Actor/director Ben Stiller made a nice little write-up for Robert Downey Jr's inclusion in Time's 100 Most Influential People for 2008, highlighting what a genius of an actor RDJ is. "...

Robert Downey Jr. was sent down to Earth to help us all realize (through his work) that the human experience is a sad, funny, beautiful thing, full of imperfection and irony."

Stiller, Downey, and Jack Black star in the movie Tropic Thunder, listed on IMDb with the plot: Through a series of freak occurrences, a group of actors shooting a big-budget war movie are forced to become the soldiers they are portraying. The three actors recently appeared as the "Pips" of Gladys Knight in the Finale of Season 7 of American Idol. Ben and Jack were fun and goofy, but RDJ was the sexiest Pip of all

I will forever love that man, not only for his good looks, but for his unparalleled acting. And it's awful sweet that his drug-riddled life turned for the better now that he's found and married the love of his life. If only all substance-abusers could recover as well as RDJ.

Here's one of my most favorite scenes from my most favorite RDJ movie, Heart and Souls. A description of the scene, for those who haven't seen the film: "Penny takes possesion of Thomas' body to get them pass the securityguard and onto the stage so Harrison can give his one and only performance."
