Echoes of Dreams: A concert to help the victims of typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng

(Grabbed from dcloud on YouTube)

Greetings of Peace!

Thank you for taking time to read this letter.Through this letter, we wish to inform you that we are staging a benefit concert entitled “Echoes of Dreams” on November 30, 7 to 9p.m, at the Araneta Coliseum. This concert will help us raise the much-needed funds and enable us to continue our projects to benefit underprivileged children and those who were heavily devastated by typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng.

“Echoes of Dreams” will be participated by our very own world-class performer—Ms. Lea Salonga together with world-class musicians—the Manila Symphony Orchestra, to be conducted by Maestro Arturo Molina. But the main highlight of the show will be the performances of the talented artists from our partner organizations. We’ll have Tum Tum Mendoza—a world-renowned Marimba player who has Autism, together with the ILLC Kids, the Black Theater Group of the SELF Therapeutic Community, the Payatas Kids of the Interact Club of Rotary Makati-Rockwell and the Center for Arts Ensemble. We will also set a Guinness World Record for the largest children’s choir performing in a live concert to be performed by Fusion Excel International’s Hope for Children Choir as coordinated by the Friends of the Divine Mercy.

Special celebrity guests will join like,Classical Artists—Pinky Marquez and Allan Dale, Pop Belter--Frenchy Dy, New Pop Sensation—Myrus, Vocal Groups--The Tux andAngelos, songwriter and hit-maker—Top Suzara, Pop-Rock Artist—Mike Chan, Alternative Band—Peryodiko, International Jazz Artist—Stella Ignacio, Blind Child Singer—Fatima Soriano, Matinee Idols—Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera and a lot more surprise guests. Hosting the event is Ms. Cory Quirino. (Please check the poster above for more information)

“Echoes of Dreams” is the most suitable title for our benefit concert because the marginalized sectors we represent are those whose voices have been shut by their disabilities, whose thoughts cannot be articulated, and whose dreams were stolen by poverty, physical, emotional and sexual abuse. The show is being organized by the Center for Arts Foundation, Inc. (CAFI), in cooperation with the Autism Society Philippines (ASP), the Self Enhancement for Life Foundation (SELF), the Immaculate Heart in Memoriam (IHM), the Independent Living Learning Center (ILLC), the Movie Workers Welfare Foundation (MOWELFUND), Yes Pinoy Foundation, and the Rotary Club of Makati-Rockwell. These organizations have joined forces to make a strong impact in the society by advocating equality and support for the disabled, the reformed, the abused, and the helpless children.

In this regard, we would like to request for your invaluable support by watching the event.Tickets are very very affordable. Please help us promote the show as well and make November 30 your "Official Charity Day".Please log on to our website for more information, just click http://echoesofdreams.org/

Please email back for ticket reservations. Or buy your tickets at all Ticketnet Outlets in all SM Department Stores or at the Araneta Coliseum Box Office, or call 911-5555.

Remember, you are not only going to be entertained by our country's best artists but you will also be helping so many underprivileged children.

Thank you in advance for your overwhelming support to this worthwhile and noble endeavor.

Sincerely,

Jerome Vinarao
