Dear friends,
The Integrated Bar of the Philippines, the national association of laywers in the country, launched an Anti-Smoke Belching campaign last year. To help clean the streets of smoke belching vehicles, please send pictures of smokebelching vehicles to
smokebelchers@yahoo.com
The plate number must be visible in the picture. Go for the gross polluters.
IBP will assign a volunteer lawyer to send a notice to sue to the owner of the smoke belching vehicle and require the owner to submit the vehicle for emission testing at the LTO East Avenue emission testing center within 30 days. A paralegal or lawyer will be present during the emission testing.
